Cameron Stiehl

Cameron Stiehl

Creator, executive producer, and host of Happy Hour with Cameron Stiehl, Cameron makes her home in the Haight-Ashbury area of San Francisco, California. Cameron serves on the GLAAD Leadership Council, is a part-time volunteer for the Trevor Project and Grattan Elementary School's Inclusive Practices Team, as well as working full-time as an ergonomic evaluation specialist.

Cameron was raised in the beautiful desert of Albuquerque, New Mexico and began her acting career at an early age in her living room, putting on performance pieces for any friendly captive audience that might be foolish or kind enough to stick around after dinner time. Formal drama training began in earnest in high school under the impeccable tutelage of many great mentors, to whom she attributes her dedicated work ethic.

Cameron attended the University of New Mexico, first majoring in Theatre Arts and finally achieving a Master of Arts degree in Secondary Education. She taught high school for five years before moving to San Francisco where she has returned to acting and filmmaking. She has appeared in a number of short films, television commercials, and feature films.

Cameron is also the mother of Corin, now 12, a beautiful little boy with Fragile X Syndrome.

For more information regarding Fragile X, see the National Fragile X Foundation website. For more on Cameron, click here for her personal site and here for her story behind the creation of Happy Hour.
